The whole configuration comprises five steps

●       Hostname

●       IP Domain Name

●       Create SSH Key

●       Create a user

●       Enable SSH

To get started, open up the router command window then follow the below steps

•    Type enable and press enter

•    Type conf t.and press enter

•    Under the switch config, type hostname and hit Enter key.

•    Now you need to put up the IP Domain name. To do so, type IP domain-name. Press enter.

•    Now type crypto key generates a and press Enter.

•    Enter your username and password.

•    Type line vty 0 15 again and press enter.

•    Type login and hit enter

•    In the next line, type exit to wrap up the configuration.

•    Now go back to the putty configuration window and type the IP address.

•    Click OK to open the putty command window.
